What's up guys my name is Faraz Ahmed website and in this video I’m going to show you how to add GoogleAdsense to your WordPress websitein a nutshell Google Adsense is what you use to show ads to your viewers on yourwebsite and why would you want to dothis well the main reason is because you can make a lot of money with yourwebsite especially if you've got tons ofviewers every month because each timesomebody clicks on one of those ads onyour website you get paid okay so I’m going to show you how to do it right nowin just a few easy steps okay so stepnumber one is to sign up for GoogleAdsense so if you don't already have aGoogle Adsense account you can justclick on the very first link in thedescription or you can just go togoogle.com slash Adsense slash start andthen from here we'll just go ahead andclick on get started now I already havea Google Adsense account and you canonly have one per person or one perbusiness but I'm gonna walk through someof the first setup with you so for theURL I'm gonna put in a secondary sitethat I have called to create apro-business com but you would want toput in your main URL here and then youcan put in your email and then we'llscroll down and you can get helpful infofrom Adsense if you'd like I recommendthis because they'll send you somereally awesome tips for putting ads onyour website and it'll hopefullyincrease the amount of money that youcan make and then just go ahead andclick Save and continue and again Ialready have an account set up for Google Adsense so I'm not going to clickit but once you get your account set upthen we can go ahead and sign in soagain back to this main Google Adsensepage we're gonna go ahead and click onsign in and then I'm just gonna selectmy account passwordcool and here we are inside of ourGoogle Adsense dashboard now step numbertwo is to create a new ad unit so to dothis just go on over to ads over here inthe left-hand menu and then just clickon buy ad unit right here and then we'regonna go with display ads right herethis is the recommended one and here youcan see an example of what a typical adwould look like so now we're just gonn aname it so I'm just gonna call this adunit 1 and then we're gonna keep this asa square and then for ad size we'regonna keep this as responsive that waythey'll resize to fit any space on yourwebsite okay so now just go ahead andclick on create and now we're gonna beneeding this code so go ahead and clickon a copy code snippet and now we canmove on to step number three which is todisplay the ad on your website so I'mjust gonna go over to my WordPresswebsite and I'm inside the dashboard andthe easiest way to show you how todisplay an ad on your website is to doit in the widget area of the sidebar soI'm gonna go over to appearance and thengo to widgets and then I'm just gonnascroll down and select custom HTML righthere and I'm just gonna drag that to thetop of my sidebar and inside the contentwindow right here I'm just gonna pastethat code just like that and now justclick on save and then we can just closethis window and we're gonna go up andview a post so I'm just gonna go over topost and then go to all posts and thenI'll just select a post and go over toview and now as you can see there's noad displaying right here which is whereit should be this is my sidebar but itactually is an ad displaying here it'sgot a placement if I hover over it orsorry highlight this is where the actualad will be but Google needs about anhour so to determine what type of adsit's going to put on your website itbasically has to read your website anddetermine what content to serve so don'tbe alarmed if you just see an emptyspace in fact if I just click over hereand inspect you can see right up hereGoogle ads frame 1 this is where ourGoogle ad is going to be so now I'llshow you how to insert ads into youractual posts as well as how to automatethemso step number four automate your ads solet's just go up to our dashboard andthen I'm just gonna go down to pluginsand then go over to add new and thenover on the search bar on the right I'mjust gonna type in adsense plug-in WPquad and then you'll see Adsense plug-inWP quads right here so we're just goingto go ahead and install now and thenclick activate cool and then it's goingto promote the WP quads Pro to you butreally you can get by with just the freeversion just fine so we're just gonnaskip and go to Settings cool so now justscroll down and here's where we canassign where we want our ads to show upso if I were to click on the first onefor assign random ads to the beginningof the post then the ad would show up atthe very top of our posts and you canchange this to ad number one and thenyou would want to go into ads andactually add an ad in there which I willshow you how to do in just a second butfor the sake of explaining this sectionlet's just say you want to displayrandom ads because you've made a bunchof them inside of your Google Adsensedashboard you can also display them inthe middle of your post and it will doits best guess to determine where themiddle of your post is and put one thereand then you can display them at the endof your post as well as display themafter the more tag so more is whensomebody were to click on the read moretag it will put that just underneaththat and that's if you have that on yourpost and then down below in these lastfour you can determine if you want todisplay them after certain paragraphnumbers so let's say that you havearound 50 paragraphs well then you candisplay one after the fiftieth paragraphso you want to use these settings at thebottom- exactly target where to display theads on your posts so I'm just gonnauncheck these and I'm just gonna leaveone set at the beginning of the post andI'm gonna change it to add one becauseI'm gonna go in and make ad one okayscrolling down okay and here you candetermine the visibility of where youwant your ads so on the home pagecategories and tags and then if youcheck on this hide ads when user islogged inthen whenever you're logged intoWordPress you're not going to be able tosee your ads which I don't recommendbecause then you can't see where they'regonna be placed so I highly recommendmaking sure that this is unchecked andthen from here you're going to determinewhere these ads are whether it's onposts and pages or so right now I'dselect it as both or you can just doindividuals so in this case I'm justgonna do posts because my homepage istechnically a page and I don't want itto show up on my homepage so I'm gonnamake sure that this says post and thenyou can just skip the rest of thesesettings and click on Save Changesand then we're just gonna scroll back upand we're gonna create ad number one solet's go ahead and click on ads and thenwe're gonna click on add one and thenhere is where we're gonna put in thatcode that we copied from earlier fromour Adsense dashboard so with plain textHTML and JavaScript this is where youcould put in any sort of commissionbased code it's so it doesn't have tojust be from Adsense it could be fromany other site or any other ads serverbut in this case we're doing Adsense sowe're gonna click on the Adsense buttonand then I'm gonna click on a copy-pasteAdsense code and then I'm just gonnaenter that in here and then I'm justgonna say get code and now in order todo a responsive ad then you'll need thepro version of WP quads but I've foundthat if you just go to fixed size youcan just type in a square value like say200 by 200 and that will work perfectlyfine and then you can determine whereyou want it to be aligned in your postwhether it's on the left the right or inthe middle in this case I'll just say inthe middle and then margin is the amountof pixels of space around the ad so I'mjust going to say 10 and now just go downto Save Changes down here cool so nowjust going back to double check we'regonna go to general and position andmake sure that we've got a sign add oneto the beginning of the post and thennow let's just go check out our post soI'm going to scroll up and go to posts and then go to all posts and then I'm just going to view my post cool and now if I just scroll down youcan see that I've got a blank space here and if I highlight over that you can see the blue box and this is where my ad isgoing to be so again if you see the blank space don't panic Google AdSense needs around an hour could be evenlonger to determine what type of contents being displayed on your page and whatads that they should be serving up onyour website but if you're not sure where this box might be you can alsojust go up to add check up here and thenjust click on show adverts and then thiswill give you a box around to where yourad is and again in this case I have asquare one so it's actually going to bea square but it least shows you wherethe ads will be displayed and the adswill look something like this so my main recommendation is just to randomize theads on all of your blog posts that wayGoogle Adsense will do its best todetermine what type of ads to serve upto your viewers on your website based onyour content alright guys
